If you find yourself viewing this Homepage...it may very well
be that the Holy Spirit has placed it upon your heart to be
here at this moment.
My name is Bob Lewis and I have been a Christian since 1949.
I was 9 years old when I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior
and asked Him to come into my heart and take control of my life.
He never promised any Christian or me a "bed of roses". What
He DID promise is Eternal Life with Him in Heaven and that He
would walk with us while here on earth if we will only admit
that you are a sinner, ask forgiveness for your sins, accept
Him as our personal Lord and Savior, and commit yourself to
following Him. That's what I have found...
He is ALWAYS there. Knowing that gives you great peace of mind.
The road to Heaven starts for all people: Rich/Poor; Tall/Short;
Weak/Strong at the same place...the foot of the Cross that
Jesus died on for our sins.
See...2,000 years ago, God sent His Holy Spirit to this Earth to
come upon the Virgin Mary. He caused her to bear a Son named
Jesus.
He lived a perfectly sinless life for the entire time He lived
on this Earth.
He performed many miracles, all documented in The Holy Bible: He
changed water to wine at a wedding feast; He made the blind
to see, the deaf to hear, the dumb to speak and the lame to walk;
He fed 4,000
people on a small amount of bread and fish once and 5,000 plus
their wives and children another time; He walked on water;
He calmed the angry sea with His command; He healed lepers;
He caused a coin to be in a fishes' mouth straight out of the
sea so The Disciples could pay
their taxes; He raised Lazarus from the dead after Lazarus
had been in a tomb in Bethany for
four days...and most importantly...Christ died an Atoning
Death for our sins on the Cross
at Calvary 2,000 years ago so that you and I could go to
Heaven.
He also was buried in a tomb on that day but rose from the dead
three days later. That is the day we all call Easter!
If He hadn't done this, we would be hopeless. There
would be no way for us to get into
Heaven where He is preparing a place for us right now. ALL sin
MUST be paid for! If you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior
then YOUR sins are bought and paid for by His Death, Burial and
Resurrection. If you choose to NOT accept Him, then YOU have
to pay the price... by being thrown into the lake of fire, for
Eternity on Judgement Day.
Its SO SIMPLE! Almost as simple as the billions of people who
refused to believe Noah that there was going to be a flood.
They refused to get on the boat! For us, Christ is The Boat.
He has VERY BROAD SHOULDERS! Believe on Him, PLEASE!
He made at least ten appearances to over 500 people after
His resurrection. Many of them
were subjected to unbelievable torture to try and get
them to renounce their Testimony of
His resurrection from the dead. None did!
Within a few days after His resurrection, He ascended
into the Heavens on a cloud while on
the road to Bethany. Fifty days later, The Holy
Spirit, whom The Lord promised would be
sent, descended on a group of believers in Jerusalem.
The Holy Spirit's arrival completed the Trinity of:
God, Our Father; Jesus Christ, Our Savior and
The Holy Spirit, Our Counselor.
You can be a Christian and get into Heaven if you
will pray to God that:
1) You know you are a sinner, (a sin is anything
that is against the Will of God)
2) Confess your sins to Him,
3) Ask Him for forgiveness for your sins,
4) Ask Jesus to come into your heart as Savior and
Lord and take control of your life, and
5) Ask all these things in Jesus' Holy Name.
If you can say the above prayer sincerely and mean it,
you will go to Heaven because He
said while He was here on Earth that He was
The Way, the Truth and the Light and no one
comes to the Father except by Him.
By saying the above prayer, you have gone to the
Father through Jesus.
You have your ticket. No one can take it away...
just as no one can ever change the fact
that your parents are your parents... and no one
can change that fact... once you accept
Christ as your Savior, no one can alter that fact.
You are His forever! Eternally! You need have no
fear of death. When you die, your spirit
will immediately be in the presence of the Lord.
If you die without having accepted Christ as your
personal Savior, you will go to Hell for
Eternity where you will be held in an isolated
cell until Judgement Day, more on this later.
One other possibility is that the Lord could
return before you die, in which case, if you
are a Christian, you will rise to meet Him in
the air with all other living Christians to
be with Him in Heaven for all of Eternity.
Alternatively, and here is the bad news that
you have to know and believe:
If you die or if the Lord comes again before
you die and you have NOT accepted Christ
as your personal Savior, your options expire!
You will go to Hell for Eternity, just as if
you had died without accepting Him, where
you will be held in an isolated cell until
Judgement Day which will come 1,007 years
after the Lord comes again to get all
Christians (The Rapture).
On that Day, unless you have accepted Christ
as your personal Savior, you will be
brought before God, The Father, found guilty
of never having admitted to being a
sinner, never having accepted Christ, His Son,
as your personal Lord and Savior
and you will be thrown by mighty Angels into
the Lake of Fire for Eternity (Please
see Revelations, the last Book in the Holy Bible).
See, ALL sinners are condemned
to death and eventually Hell, unless the price
has been paid... and for Christians, Jesus paid
the price!.
The ONLY way to remove God, The Father's wrath
against YOU is to accept His Only Begotten
Son, Jesus Christ (John 3:16) as your personal
Lord and Savior because He has paid the price of
your sins with His Blood!.
There is NO other way! No Christian will even
be brought before God on this great
Judgement Day. Only those who have NOT accepted
Christ as their Savior.
Another very important point to remember is:
If you ARE a Christian at that time,
you will be looking over Christ's shoulder at
those who are condemned to the lake
of fire for eternity and MAY see them gaze at
you as they are carried off asking
why you never told them about Jesus.
Please don't let the blood of a friend,
relative or loved one be on your hands at
that time. Here and now, if you have doubts
about someone's Salvation, tell them
about our Jesus. It would be better for you
to assume someone is lost, tell them
about Jesus and find out they are already
Saved... than to assume they are Saved,
and them be lost.
How long is Eternity? Imagine a little dove
sitting on the moon.
Imagine the Earth to be a solid marble ball.
Every 100 years the little dove flies
to Earth and barely touches one of its wings
to the solid marble ball.
By the time the dove has worn the ball to the
size of a little marble... Eternity
would have just begun!
The nineteenth- century Scottish preacher Horatius
Bonar asked 253 Christian friends at what AGES they
Were converted.
Here is what he discovered:
Under 20 years on age: 138
Between 20 and 30: 85
Between 30 and 40: 22
Between 40 and 50: 4
Between 50 and 60: 3
Between 60 and 70: 1
Over 70: 0

PS: Please let me add this note from a friend
regarding helping others. It touched my heart
and I hope it will yours... and maybe you know
some one that needs to hear/read this:
"Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,
but a good word makes it glad."
-- Proverbs 12:25 (NKJV)
"I have mentioned this in the past and it is
rather sad when you consider what great comforts
and freedoms we enjoy here in America, but the
current costs for treatment of depression related
illnesses now exceeds the costs for the treatment
of alcohol and drug abuse combined.
And much of the alcohol and drug problems are a
result of, you guessed it, depression.
King Solomon tells us that anxiety in the heart
of man causes depression.
And anxiety is a powerful thing, as is vividly
defined by Webster this way, "Concern respecting
some uncertain thing, or event or future, which
disturbs the mind, and keeps it in a state of
painful uneasiness."
I think that Solomon provides an easy, inexpensive
antidote for treating depression, encouraging words
to make the heart glad. A word in due season.
"The problem with us human beings is that we are
oft times so self-absorbed that we do not recognize
when a friend, or family member, or neighbor, or
co-worker needs our support and encouragement.
We are too busy, or we are wrapped up in our own
problems, or we just don't care. Depression breaks
the human spirit (a deep sadness if you're there
now or have been there before) and that leads to a
defeated life.
Many a broken spirit is compounded by a life that
is devoid of a personal relationship with the Lord.
The fact is, we only need God (His Grace is
sufficient), but add frequent cheerful words
of encouragement from someone who cares and
the recovery will be quick and complete.
Today, may God grant you the wisdom to know
where you can help prevent or mend a broken
spirit and make a heart glad!
"A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance,
but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken."
-- Proverbs 15:13 (NKJV)
Be encouraged, be hopeful, have a blessed day!
I love you in Jesus,
Bob
